About Us
We are Tim and Deirdre Rahn, owners and operators of The Canine Country Inn, Hamburg, PA.
We have a unique understanding of dogs and the connection they form with their people. We entered the world of dogs and dog sports in 1990, shortly after we were married. Since then, dogs are our life and we participate regularly in training, showing, and breeding. You may have even seen us and our dogs on TV!
We understand how stressful it can be to choose the right people to care for your pet. With our 30+ years of experience, we strive to provide you and your pet the most positive experience possible while you are away.
Our boarding is unlike any other in the area. Our facility is nestled on our small, 34 acre, family farm. Your dogs quarters is attached directly to the rest of our home. During their stay, your dog will enjoy large play yards, views of rolling pastures, and enjoy watching the livestock and wildlife that live here.

Boarding
Your pet’s happiness is our number one priority. During this service, we will get to know your pet and what they like and dislike then cater their stay to their individual needs.
Basic Plan Rates (Play yard time included)
Small Dogs (under 20lbs) - $30 per night
Medium Dogs (20-55lbs) - $35 per night
Large Dogs (55-90lbs) - $40 per night
Giant Dogs (over 90lbs) - $50 per night
Puppy Rate (under 1 year old) - add $5 per night
Senior Care - Seniors requiring special care based on need
Grooming
We offer grooming services for our boarding clients before they return home. Dogs LOVE the smells on the farm but we are aware many humans do not! A "going home bath" is the perfect way to let them enjoy farm life and still return home fresh and clean!
Prices vary based on size and coat of dog and range from $20-$40.

This is our home so our hours are generally very flexible. However, they are by appointment only so we can give you and your dog our full attention while you are here.
